Packaging

It comes in a yellow plastic tube with a screw top. The product inside is sealed with a foil lid which you have to open before using it. This is a great idea to keeping it fresh till its first use. I like the feel of the tube to control the amount coming out so you don’t waste much.

Texture

The liquid product inside is a white colour with a medium consistency. The paste feels smooth on the fingers and cooling on the skin, the texture changes as you start to use it forming small balls.

Application 

Apply a thin layer on your face and use it as a scrub as you rub it in circular motions on your skin the colour and texture will change forming small particles from the paste as it becomes drier. It has a thick consistency which makes it easy to apply to the skin, with a smooth texture and does not contain any particles.

Results

This scrub is a great pick me up if you need a quick fix before an important event. It leaves you with instantly fresh and smoother looking skin, great results for makeup and non-makeup wearers. I would recommend doing it the morning of the event followed by a rich moisturiser for smoother glow to the skin ready to prep for your next step whether that is skincare or makeup.

Cost effective

Yes and no, I don’t think it’s the cheapest or dearest price point at £34 however it does what it says instantly and gives you a fresh look, it does last long as it is not a daily use product.

Cons

I feel like the packaging is not great however is light and travel friendly. I don’t like the scent to it but it is not that strong, I like my skincare to be fragrance free. I don’t feel like it has a long term effect but I am happy with the instant effect.

Verdict

It’s a thumbs up from me and I recommend this to those who are looking for a quick pick me up and also for something as part of a weekly or occasional skin-regime. If you are looking for long term results then this might not be a product for you but is so worth it for a pre-makeup step for flawless makeup application which is what I use it for.
