How to Fleek your Brows

So we are in the Era of Eyebrows, they have to be on FLEEK otherwise let’s face it, your makeup looks incomplete. This has been requested by so many of you so let’s get straight into it.

Ensure your brows are moisturised

Yes you heard right, your brows are a part of you face aswell, so they need some lovin’ too. I use a face oil or vaseline on my eyebrows before I go to bed, this ensures they stay moisturised and hydrated. The face oil I use is the Azora Argan Liquid Gold. (Review will be up soon)

2. Shape your brows before applying your product.

This does not mean you have to pluck your eyebrows, but it does mean get rid of that monobrow. If you do generally do your eyebrows then go ahead and shape them beforehand so you have a clean slate to work with.

3. Know your shape.

Before you apply any product on your brow it is important to know what shape you are going for. Take a look at your natural brow shape and stay as natural as possible. Brush through your brows with a spooley and see where the adjustments are needed. Some of you may have sparse brow hairs, it is important to comb then properly with a spooly before and after applying product.

4. Apply your product.

Whether you choose a gel, liquid or powder, it does not matter. If you are using something liquid based then just make sure to set it with powder. Try to mimic natural hair strands in more bold spots otherwise softly fill in the gaps. Some of you may have an area where hair just does not grow but make sure you balance out the brows like I do. Some of you may have a scar in the hair where it creates a slit of non hair growth as I do, it is not always necessary to fill it in, I hardly fill mine in but for some special events I do. This keeps a natural effect on your complete look.

5. Finish the look.

To have a cleaner effect of the brows you can apply some concealer under the brow line and on the top arch to give a sharper look, this is an optional step which I only do on special events. To finish the look use a spooley over the brows and set with a brow gel or clear mascara. I use the Anastasia clear brow gel or NYX control freaks.
