Skin product.

The easy, convenient and gentle way to remove your makeup. Many of you may have seen this already over the internet. This is a product that I didn’t think I really needed and was skeptical about using. I thought would be a waste of money and it couldn’t possibly take of waterproof mascara as it has such a low number of ingredients and how super sensitive it is, not to mention it just looks like plain water. So I gave it a go and these are my thoughts.

Product details

Micellar Cleansing Water removes make-up, cleanses and soothes with no need for rubbing or rinsing. Like a magnet, the cleansing agents capture and lift away dirt from the skin.

Texture

It feels exactly like water, it is not sticky at all and feels super light on the skin. It has minimal ingredients which makes the product itself so amazing, it has particles inside the product which allows the makeup and dirt to dissolve.

Application

As this comes in a bottle which is convenient as it is a very runny liquid. It runs out of the bottle very quickly so make sure you have your cotton pad ready. It feels like it has nothing in it and you don’t even have to wash it off after using it.

Results

It is very hydrating to the skin as it does not strip the skin at all. It makes the skin smooth and clean. I use it after talking my makeup off with a wipe or makeup eraser if I have heavy makeup and I use it alone when I have less foundation on. Not that it can’t do the job, but because it’s just the way I do things. I have used this on its own when I have had heavy makeup and it works absolutely fine. It takes off your mascara amazingly even waterproof mascara! Sometimes when I am not wearing makeup I just get a cotton pad and wipe this all over the face and you will see dirt from the general air pollution come off. This also works just as amazing on sensitive skin.

Smell

It is labelled as ‘fragrance free’ and it literally smells of nothing.

Cost effective

Yes, you can purchase this from Superdrug’s, Boots and all superstores..

Verdict

Highly recommended for all skin types for both makeup and non-makeup wearers. It leaves the skin feeling clean and fresh. I have used a few different companies that do Micellar water but the best one is this Garnier one in terms of value for money and product result. If you do your own research you will see it comes under the top 8 Micellar water.
