Holy Grail Foundation for Oily Skin

Coverage 

This is a full coverage foundation. I do not personally use any concealers with this foundation, unless I am using it for highlighting. This is because on its own it covers blemishes, scars and most pigmentation. If you prefer a heavier look you can achieve it by using a foundation brush, or for the natural look, you can use a beauty blender. This foundation is great for layering it up as you want without looking caked.

Application

The application is very easy and blends well but you have to act fast as it dries quickly. Therefore I do my foundation in sections. I have tried it with a flat top kabuki foundation brush and it applies high in coverage. You can also use a beauty blender which is what I do and it gives a smoother finish in my opinion.  This has actually been my holy grail foundation for the last 2 years especially on special events. I now use this foundation with a beauty blender whenever I use this foundation (which is most of the time). As for the concealers they are also high in coverage and is just like the foundation so I use the concealers when I need a bit more coverage in some areas when I am not using the Double Wear Foundation. I have worn the concealers on its own and it looks so natural.

Finish

This has a matte finish which is what I love.

Lasting power

This foundation holds up well for up to round 8-10 hours, although it claims to stay in place for up to 15hours. I have never used any setting sprays with this as I have never needed to, I do however set my foundation with a light powder as I do for all foundations. The concealers are the same and stay in place for 10hours.

Verdict

Recommended for oily skin and combination skin for the foundation. I would not recommend this for dry skin at all as it does not sit well. The concealers I would recommend to all skin types provided the under eyes are hydrated well with moisturizer.
